2. Schedule & Rooms

Key times:

• Doors open: 8:30 AM
• Welcome & practical info session: 9:40 AM
• Presentations will take place in two rooms:
  • Room A: Maximum capacity of 80 people
  • Room B: Maximum capacity of 40 people

Please note that these limits will be strictly enforced for safety and insurance reasons. Volunteers will be present at the doors to assist with room access—thank you for respecting their instructions.

3. Getting There

HamCon Belgium will take place at:
KU Leuven – Campus Arenberg III “Quadrivium”
Celestijnenlaan 200, 3001 Leuven, Belgium

By Car:

Parking is available on-site. GPS: Parking Kapeldreef, 3001 Leuven.
Use the temporary conference-only code send via mail for access (this code will also be sent in a reminder email one week before the event). The Quadrivium building is located aprox. 250m south-west from the parking building.

by car (GPS information Heverlee-Leuven Celestijnenlaan)
coming from Brussels or Liège via the E40 motorway (Brussels-Liège) Take the E314 / Leuven exit (no. 15). Keep to the right and follow the signs ‘Leuven’ (leave the E314). Turn right at the traffic lights at the IMEC tower (towards Campus Arenberg; this is the Celestijnenlaan). Drive for approximately 200 m, turn right onto Campus Arenberg. There is parking in the immediate vicinity.

coming from Hasselt/Eindhoven/Aken via the E314 motorway (Aachen – Leuven) Take the ‘Leuven’ exit (no. 15). This is the last exit before the E40. Turn right at the traffic lights at the IMEC tower (towards Campus Arenberg; this is the Celestijnenlaan). Drive for approximately 200 m, turn right onto Campus Arenberg. There is parking in the immediate vicinity.

By Public Transport:

• From “Leuven” railway station: Two buses per hour (approx. 25 minutes).
• From “Heverlee” railway station: Two buses per hour (approx. 10 minutes).

by train to Leuven Station or Heverlee Station, then by bus: line 2 Heverlee Campus, to the final stop Campus Arenberg
by bus: line 2 Heverlee Campus, to the final stop Campus Arenberg.

4. Food & Drinks

Lunch will consist of a selection of sandwiches, priced at €5 each, payable by cash or card. A limited selection of drinks will be provided during lunch, with additional options available from vending machines on-site.
